My name is Annica, and this is my blog. I will be sharing with you mainly two topics: politics and tech.
For a living I work as a Policy & Advocacy Adviser at a social European NGO Network in Brussels, Belgium. I am specialised in European internal affairs in the field of human rights, equality, non-discrimination and migration. This is my job and my passion. On my spare time I stay tuned with global politics, and a feminist outlook on most things.
To add, I have a geeky curiosity for tech stuff and knowledge management, and I am a dedicated Apple fan (thanks to my dear friend Alexandra). As a part of my yearly personal goals (in June 2014 I stopped smoking and in May 2015 I finally finalised my masters thesis), I have decided that by 2016 I am going paperless. As a part of this project of mine I will share my tips on things such as how to replace daily papers & calendars with a smart set of apps. Although, I will make one exception – for novels, which for now I will keep on my night stand and in my suitcase when packed for holidays..
Stay tuned!
